Elegance, freshness and delicacy, the Franciacorta Rosé Romantica combines these three characteristics given by a skillful use of Pinot Noir grapes.
90% Pinot Nero e 10% Chardonnay
Soft pressing of the Pinot Noir grapes and choice of the first juice. Short contact between skins and must. Assembly of the Pinot Noir with the small percentage of Chardonnay. The fermentation is carried out at low temperatures for 14 days. After that, the base wine ages for 7 months in stainless steel vats. The malolactic fermentation is not performed.
AGEING ON THE LEES: at least 30 months

COLOUR: Pale Rosé
APPEARANCE: Creamy foam and fine perlage
The Pinot Noir favors the wine with a full bodied sensation and structure. Light fragrance of pastry, blackberry, currant and raspberry.
The long ageing on the lees gives a rare finesse and persistence at the same time
RECOMMENDED FOOD: Ideal as aperitif but it goes well with shrimps, pasta dishes and light fish dishes.
