From the excellent 2015 vintage comes our Romantica Franciacorta Riserva 2015 Dosage Zéro, the purest expression of a single harvest. Made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from the family’s estate vineyards. The grapes undergo gentle and progressive pressing, followed by a first fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Bottled the following spring for the second fermentation, it then rests on the lees for over 100 months, enhancing its soft elegance. No dosage is added at disgorgement in order to preserve the true identity of the vintage. It stands out for its persistence and excellent acidity.

Harvest period: Second half of August
Vinification: Gentle pressing of the grapes and separation of the musts. Base wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks, with only a small portion aged in barriques. Bottle aging on the lees for 90 months
Color: Deep yellow with golden highlights
Aroma: Notes of yellow-fleshed fruit and bread crust
Taste: On the palate it is savory and impresses with its remarkable freshness
